To make our courses more accessible and convenient, we offer a Blended Learning Delivery option. This format combines online theory components, completed directly through the Canadian Red Cross, with an in-person skills session conducted in a classroom setting.
100% Mobile Training — We Come to You
Our company offers the convenience of a fully mobile First Aid classroom that comes directly to your location. All that’s required is a minimum of 500 square feet of clean floor space, along with tables and chairs to seat up to 12 participants. We take care of the rest.
(1 day in person) – equivalent to Worksafe BC “Basic” (old OFA1) can be completed by finishing approximately 4 hours of online theory, followed by 3.5 to 4 hours of in-person skills evaluation.
(2 day in person) – equivalent to Worksafe BC “Intermediate” (old OFA2) can be completed by finishing approximately 8 hours of online theory, followed by 5.5 to 6 hours of in-person skills evaluation.
Our flexible option is ideal for individuals or employees with varied work schedules.
Blended learning allows participants to complete the theory portion of the course online, followed by a shorter in-person session focused on hands-on skills. Successful completion of at least 75% of the online theory is required before attending the in-person skills training.
WorkSafeBC now recognizes the following Canadian Red Cross courses:
Emergency First Aid (1 day) with CPR/A (Adult-only) — equivalent to WorkSafeBC Basic (formerly OFA Level 1)
Standard First Aid (2 days) with CPR/A (Adult-only) — equivalent to WorkSafeBC Intermediate (formerly OFA Level 2)
When you have done mandatory first aid courses for a long time, in our trade it’s very hard to keep eyes awake. THEN we got Rio! Her high energy is infectious and I have yet to hear one person complain since. She is a great dependable teacher who we employ as part of our safety regime. I can’t recommend enough.
